Summer term 2022 - Teaching takes place on campus


The lectures and courses in the summer semester 2022 are held on campus, subject to possible changes. With a click on the above picture, you will be directed to the teaching sites of the chair where you can find all important information regarding the offered courses.



The measures taken to contain the Corona pandemic on the basis of the SARS-CoV-2 Basic Protective Measures Ordinance from May 31, 2022 apply at Berlin universities (link). Accordingly, at the TU Berlin, only the recommendation to wear a medical face mask has been in effect since May 26, 2022. Detailed regulations and implications with regard to teaching and research can be found on the pages of the Crisis Committee:

DFG-Projekt "Ortsaufgelöste Messung von instationären Konzentrations- und Temperaturfeldern mittels Schlieren- und LIF- Messtechnik"

  • Aufbau einer numerischen Simulation in Star-CCM+ und Comsol Multiphysics
  • Validierung der experimentellen Messungen mittels gewonnener numerischer Daten

Oral examinations are conducted at the Department at intervals of 3 months. For exam dates and recent information, please see the site "Examination dates and modalities".

The dates and modalities for written exams will be announced in the respective ISIS courses.


The following examinations dates have changed:

Verfahrenstechnik & Energie-, Impuls- und Stofftransport II + III

  • old: September 30, 2022         new: September 23, 2022

The state of Berlin had decided on the free attempt regulations for the summer semester 2020 up to and including the winter semester 2021/2022.

Thereafter, all examinations taken and failed between April 01, 2020 and March 31, 2022 were granted a free attempt, regardless of the number of attempts per module. The free attempt regulation also applied to homework and final papers if more than two weeks of the processing time and the submission date fell within the summer semester 2020 or winter semester 2021/2022. Second repeat examinations were taken in the form provided for in the module description. If this examination has not been passed, it can be repeated accordingly.

Update (April 19, 2022):
The House of Representatives has not yet decided on an amendment to the Berlin Higher Education Act, according to which examinations taken and not passed in the summer semester 2022 will also be deemed not to have been taken.

The TU Berlin will inform about the final regulations after the resolution of the law or its amendment.
