Job offer Research Assistant

Applications are invited for a research assistant position at our Chair. The research topic includes the spatially resolved numerical simulation (CFD) to optimize the heat exchanger within a stirling engine. The project is carried out in close cooperation with an industrial partner.

The job position with the reference number III-742/19 can be filled immediately on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. The closing date for application is November 22, 2019.

Das Fachgebiet sucht ab sofort eine studentische Hilfskraft zur Unterstützung experimenteller Arbeiten im DFG-Projekt "Ortsaufgelöste Messung von instationären Konzentrations- und Temperaturfeldern mittles Schlieren- und LIF- Messtechnik" (Kennziffer: Fak III  D 2019/64, 40h/Monat). Zu den Aufgaben gehören:

  • Aufbau und Automatisierung von Versuchsständen
  • Programmierung von Auswerte- und Steueralgorithmen

  • Ansetzen von Lösungen
  • Bestimmung physikalischer Grundgrößen
  • Durchführung von Experimenten in Mehrphasensystemen unter Zugabe von Tensiden und Nanopartikeln
